Alberta Wolf Hunting
What To Expect
A wolf hunting trip with Corbett Creek Outfitters can be an exhilarating and challenging experience for those looking for an adventure in the great outdoors. Expect to be taken to remote areas of the boreal forest by an experienced guide who will provide you with the necessary equipment and expertise to track and hunt wolves in their natural habitat. The hunting season typically runs from November to March when wolves are more active, and you may use a variety of methods such as baiting, calling, or tracking. However, keep in mind that wolf hunting requires patience and persistence, and success is not guaranteed. Nonetheless, the breathtaking scenery, camaraderie with fellow hunters, and the thrill of the chase make a wolf hunting trip an unforgettable experience.
Wolf hunting has been a passion of ours that we wanted to get into to help fill a void in the industry. We’ll grant you a limited opportunity at one of the hardest predators to hunt. Wolf guiding will be a new avenue this year but not an unfamiliar one due to the knowledge we have with wolves while baiting on the trap line. Also, mentorship and advice from other active wolf hunting outfitters in the area will help to ensure our first year of wolf hunting proves successful. Come join in on the adventure at a one-year low price offer as we navigate this exciting new hunting offering.
Wolf hunts would run late February to early March during wolf mating season when the wolves are the most pushed for food and off their guard mating. Days are short at the dead of winter making sits in blinds shorter. Blinds sitting over baits along rivers, creeks and beaver ponds will be the locations we focus to bait and hunt. Buddy heaters will be provided, and bodysuits recommended. ATV or Sled rides will be short as possible due to cold temperatures.
