Mule deer hunts are primarily done in the farmland with multiple hunt style methods. Most hunts are done out of stands or pop-up blinds situated along the river valley along travel corridors. Physical fitness is recommended to be able to hike in and out of some areas of river valleys,  where ATV’s can not access. Spot and stalk locations are also possible on private land where permission is granted. The farmland and forested river valley are a recipe for the kind of big mule deer bucks that hunters dream about. Again, hunts run late November and it is suggested to be prepared for cold weather. Mule deer in the area are common to get to 160-180 inch with the chance of 200 inch have been seen.

NEW!!

To maximize the harvestability of the mule deer and to maintain the quality of the mule we have broken our hunts to both trophy and cull mule deer hunts.

Trophy mule deer: 1 hunter a year, very limited availability.

Cull mule deer: 2 hunters per year with a focus on disabled veteran hunters. (Cull mule are determined by the outfitter and tend to focus on mule deer with 6 point genetics.)

Note:

Pricing and accommodations will vary depending on the hunter and the section of hunt. We do have wheel chair assessable accommodations at a alternate location near by.
